The men’s road race in cycling for the 2012 Olympics is to take place on July 28, 2012, starting and finishing on the Mall near Buckingham Palace in central London. The 250-kilometer course combines a central London circuit with a long loop into the Surrey Hills, via Putney, Richmond Park and Hampton Court and includes nine circuits of Box Hill.
The men’s time trial in cycling is to cover 44 kilometers on August 1, 2012, and will be based on the edge of the capital at Hampton Court.
