Boundary-logs-next-to-strips-example

White and red foam bits are used in the existing SKWIM boundary system. Other pieces are scrap from the factory.

Notice the end of the white and red square boundary pieces. They have a center hole that is wide enough so that a chain can be inserted to string together the pieces.

Background[]

  • The SKWIM lagoon is the area of play, and it generally is a rectangle with boundaries.

One idea was to tie the pieces together with a knot and drilled holes.

The bullfrog product has three layers. The middle is firm and black in color.

The end has a wonderful connection that is smooth and allows for the bungie rope to attach and not get pulled apart.

Side view. The three layers is good for water polo. Even two layers would work for water polo as well. But, this height is not suitable for the best SKWIM situation. The disk would fling over the top. To make a divider between the SKWIM game and another area of the pool, such as lap-swim lanes, we'd want five layers of height or more. Double stacking is possible when needed.
