      My Story

In this video I introduce this channel with my own story, starting with my first experiences of depression and surviving a suicide attempt at the age of 15. I talk about the big milestones in my journey, the impact on my life and what it took to ultimately beat the condition. I discuss pitfalls, including a common one I see of becoming 80% well, and the importance performing experiments until you get good results. My goal with this channel is to share my approach, including the best of what I’ve learned and many of my experiences as possible in the hope that it can help. Please remember that no matter how hard it gets, it's always possible to find a way to recover. The ideas and content expressed in these videos are my opinion. I am not a doctor and I do not have medical qualifications. Please only use the information in these videos as an aid to working with your own trusted and qualified medical practitioner. If you are affected by any of the issues raised in any of these videos and would like to talk to someone then I would encourage you to do so.
