Western Pennsylvania high school football teams were shut out of Fox Sports Pittsburgh's popular Thursday night regular-season games but two contests with a local flavor will be part of the Comcast High School Football Schedule.
A Trinity home game against Chartiers Valley on Oct. 10, 2008, will be televised, as will the regular-season finale between Peters Township and Canon-McMillan. The Oct. 24, 2008, game takes place in Canonsburg.
Comcast, like Fox Sports Pittsburgh, also plans to broadcast select WPIAL playoff games in 2008-09.
