Maccabi USA is seeking swimmers for the 18th World Maccabiah Games in Israel - July 2009.
The World Maccabiah Games is the 3rd largest international competition in the World. There will be approximately 9,000 athletes and coaches representing over 60 countries.
The swim team will be comprised of 12 men and 12 women.
The United States (also known as USA) 
delegation is be approximately 900 - larger than the Olympic delegation.
Those athletes that are interested must fill out an application to be considered for the team -.....Applications are available online, at http://www.maccabiusa.com and must be accompanied by a $40 application fee.
The team will be selected in January 2009 - though everyone that is interested is highly encouraged to fill out an application - ASAP. Additional information about the swim team is posted at the Maccabi USA web site.
