This list only includes nations or territories that have been assigned at least one of these three types of country codes. For a more complete list of countries, see list of countries.
↑Mainland China (People's Republic of China except Hong Kong and Macau) is designated as the "People's Republic of China", shortenly "China" in Olympic Games, and as "China PR", shortenly "China" in football matches.
↑The Dominican Republic is NOT shortenly designated as "Dominica" but the "Dominican Republic" in Olympic Games and football matches.
